Description
Demonstrate the team collaboration solution capabilities of Lotus Quickr 8.1 running on a System i. Show customers how Lotus Quickr 8.1 can be used to:
- Create secure team spaces to support team discussions, project calendar and organize team information
- Create team blog or wiki on the Web to share knowledge
- Work with Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes and Lotus Sametime using connectors and collaborate from where you are without switching applications
- Create a Lotus Sametime Unyte account to start a Web conference
- Take team spaces off-line and work disconnected
Requirements
- You will need to have a userid and password to use Lotus Quickr. This userid is shared with the Sametime System i demo server (http://ist.demos.ibm.com), so if you already have one there, please use it. Otherwise, register for a userid first. It might take up to 5 minutes for the userid to replicate between the servers.
- Create a Lotus Quickr place by visiting http://iquickr.demos.ibm.com/LotusQuickr and select Create a Place. Use this link for your Lotus Quickr place: http://iquickr.demos.ibm.com/put your Lotus Quickr name here.
- Any Web browser can be used.

- This server is for business purposes only and is not to be used as a public and free e-meeting site. It is intended for those who are considering the purchase of Lotus Quickr.
- This server should never be used for confidential material, even in a demo scenario.

When creating a new place check the "Make this user a local id for this place only" box. It should be checked by default and we are working to correct the problem.
